Tertiary education institutions research
Young adults are at high risk of mental health problems. Many young of them are involved in universities and vocational education.. These institutions have been surprisingly neglected as settings for action. However, this is changing. In 2011, there was a National Summit on Mental Health of Tertiary Students in which members of our team played a key role.
Survey research on tertiary student mental health
Data from national surveys, including the National Survey of Mental Health and Wellbeing and the HILDA study, are being used to generate information about factors associated with the mental health of tertiary education students.
